What My Shopify Product Upload Service Includes

Everything a product needs before it goes live, done the same way every time.

📥

Bulk CSV Imports

I prepare your data in Shopify’s product CSV template, then import and check it, so hundreds of products go live in one batch.

✍️

Manual Product Entry

For complex products I add each one by hand from your supplier site, spreadsheet or catalog PDF.

🎨

Variants & Options

Sizes, colours, materials and bundles set up as proper variants, with their own SKUs, prices, weights and images.

🖼

Images & Alt Text

Images sized and ordered consistently, linked to the right variant and given descriptive alt text for SEO and accessibility.

🔎

SEO Titles & Descriptions

Clear product titles, readable descriptions, meta titles, meta descriptions and clean URL handles.

🗂

Collections, Tags & Types

Product types, vendors, tags and smart collections, so customers can filter and find products easily.

✅

Quality Checks

Every batch is checked for prices, missing images, broken variants and duplicate handles before publishing.

📊

Upload Tracker

A shared Google Sheet shows each product’s status, so you always know what is done and what is next.

Proof: 2,061 Products Uploaded for One Store

A Canadian home décor retailer needed its full supplier catalog on Shopify. I built a product template with the owner, then worked through the catalog in 10 batches. Each batch had its own tracker, and products went live only after a quality check.

The result was a clean, filterable store: brands, categories, style collections and variants all consistent. You can read every step in the Shopify product upload case study.

The client’s name and store details are kept confidential.

How a Shopify Upload Project Works

  1. Share your data: Send a supplier link, spreadsheet, CSV or catalog, plus any rules for titles and pricing.
  2. Sample batch: I upload 5 to 10 products for your approval, so we agree on the format before scaling.
  3. Batch uploads: Products go live in batches, tracked in a shared sheet with daily or weekly updates.
  4. Final QA and handover: I check prices, images, variants and collections, then send a short summary report.

I work through a Shopify staff account with only the permissions I need. You never have to share your owner password.

Shopify Product Upload FAQ

How many products can you upload per day?

It depends on the product. Simple products with one image can reach 60 to 100 a day by hand, and several hundred a day by CSV. Products with many variants or long descriptions take longer. I estimate this from a sample before we start.

Should I use CSV upload or manual upload?

CSV is best for large catalogs with consistent data. Manual upload is better for complex products, custom descriptions or when the data comes from a supplier website. Many projects use both.

Can you upload products from my supplier website?

Yes. I can collect titles, descriptions, specifications and images from supplier sites you have permission to use, then format them for Shopify.

Do you need my Shopify password?

No. Add me as a staff member with product permissions only. You can remove access at any time.

Can you also write SEO titles and descriptions?

Yes. I can rewrite titles and descriptions so they are clear, keyword-friendly and consistent, and fill in meta titles and descriptions.

How much do Shopify product upload services cost?

My hourly rate is $5–7. Small jobs can be done as a $30 three-hour package, and large catalogs get a fixed estimate after a sample batch.
