On 9 April 2025, the trainee selection exam for the NHRDF (National Human Resource Development Fund) free training program on Graphic Design & Digital Marketing took place in Dhaka. The program is 100% free and open only to young people from Dhaka district, and I had the privilege of serving as NHRDF exam invigilator on behalf of E-Learning & Earning Ltd.
A free freelancing program for Dhaka’s youth
The main goal of this NHRDF project is simple and powerful: to make unemployed and underprivileged young people skilled, so they can build careers through freelancing and self-employment. Graphic design and digital marketing are two of the most in-demand skills for freelancers, which makes them a practical first step towards earning online.
Interest in the program was remarkable. The selection exam brought together a large number of energetic, tech-savvy young men and women who want to learn freelancing and walk the path of self-employment.

My role as exam invigilator
A selection exam decides who gets a seat in the training, so it has to be fair, calm and well organised. As invigilator, my job was to distribute and collect papers, keep the room focused, handle procedural questions and make sure every candidate had exactly the same conditions to show what they can do.
Taking on this responsibility was a new experience for me, and it will undoubtedly remain one of the most valuable memories of my professional life. As an NSDA-certified trainer and assessor (Competency Based Training & Assessment Methodology, Level 4), I know how much a fair process matters, both for the candidates and for the value of the training they go on to receive.

The energy in the room
Honestly, seeing so many motivated young people together in one room felt wonderful. Every desk had someone ready to learn a new skill and change their future. On behalf of E-Learning & Earning Ltd., we wish every candidate a successful future, and we are committed to standing beside them.
Why freelancing skills matter
Unemployment is one of the biggest challenges for young people in Bangladesh. Skill-based programs like this one turn motivation into marketable skills: the same kind of skills that helped me build a remote career supporting businesses in the United States, Denmark and worldwide.
May freelancing become a tool to end unemployment in our country.

What this means for my clients
Training and assessing others keeps my own standards sharp. The same habits I use in the exam hall carry straight into client work:
- Clear processes: written SOPs and checklists, so nothing depends on memory.
- Fair, accurate checking: careful attention to detail on listings, data and orders.
- Calm under deadlines: organised, on-time delivery even when the clock is ticking.
- Easy handovers: new team members get productive fast because the work is well documented.
If you are looking for a reliable, certified virtual assistant or e-commerce specialist who brings this kind of structure to your business, I would love to hear from you.
