16 December 2024 is a day I will never forget in my freelancing journey. Honestly, I never imagined that someone would travel all the way from Denmark to Bangladesh just to meet me in person. But that day, it happened.

Las Sabir, CEO & Founder of PowerMatch, the Danish company I have been supporting since January 2023, visited my country, and we finally met face to face in Dhaka. For me, this wasn’t just a meeting. It was a dream come true and a huge achievement.

From online collaboration to a real-life meeting

Like most remote work, our partnership started and grew entirely online: messages, calls, shared documents and a lot of daily tasks handled across time zones. Month after month, that virtual collaboration turned into genuine trust.

Seeing him in person after almost two years of working together online was both unforgettable and motivating. It proves how trust, dedication and hard work can turn a virtual collaboration into something real and meaningful.

What long-term client trust looks like

A client doesn’t fly halfway around the world for someone they don’t trust. That kind of relationship is built slowly, one task at a time:

  • Showing up every day: consistent, reliable support, week after week.
  • Owning the details: treating the client’s business with the same care as my own.
  • Clear communication: regular updates and honest answers, even across time zones.
  • Growing with the business: taking on more responsibility as the work evolves.

I’m truly grateful for the trust my client has placed in me throughout this journey, and our work together is still going strong today.
